Your half-day charter starts with a departure from Lagos Marina. As you set sail, marvel at the famous Ponta de Piedade, renowned for its magnificent rock formations, caves, secluded small beaches and enchanting coves. Then there are two tempting options, to choose from for a truly personalised experience.

Circle the Lighthouse and Sail the Golden Coast

The first option is to savour a captivating journey along the Golden Coast. Navigating around the picturesque lighthouse take in the awe-inspiring views that unfold before you. Soak up the breathtaking scenery as you sail along the coast. After an uninterrupted cruise with a cold drink, in hand and a Tapas platter to enjoy, we return to our base in Lagos.

Cruise to the Alvor Estuary

If you prefer an alternative route, after viewing Ponta de Piedade the second option takes you eastwards across the bay of Lagos to the remarkable nature reserve of the Alvor estuary. Here we drop anchor with Monchique as your imposing backdrop. Take a leisurely swim in the refreshing waters or, a short exploration of the area on our stand-up paddleboards, in a relaxed atmosphere with a platter of tapas and a refreshing cold drink.

A Quadrant Algarve Lagos night charter is strategically timed to leave 3 and a 1/2 hours before sunset, ensuring our guests enjoy the magnificent beauty of an enchanting evening sail along the Golden Coast towards Sagres. During the summer months, when the sun sets later, this extended timeframe provides even more opportunities to take in the splendour of the Algarvian sunset as it gracefully descends over the horizon from the vantage point of Sagres.

Three stages of the Unforgettable Night charter

The night charter unfolds in three captivating stages, each designed to create a truly magical experience. The first stage is a remarkable sail along the Golden Coast towards Sagres, offering awe-inspiring views as the sun begins its descent. As the sun sets, painting the sky in many colours, we progress to the second stage, where our yacht turns back to find its favourite anchorage below the Fort in the bay. The return home

The third and final element of the night charter is an opportunity for early risers. As the anchor is lifted, the yacht sets sail to return to Lagos, allowing guests to witness the captivating sunrise of the following morning. To make the most of this unique experience, it is recommended that this special exploration be organised during the two nights preceding a full moon, the night of the full moon itself, and the two nights following, offering the added spectacle of being on the water during this amazing celestial event.
