A fantastic birthday treat! We had 8 hours with Rob on Ocean Breeze. What a beautiful yacht, clean and with two toilets. We spent our day on deck and were treated to a master class of how to manage the sails to get the most from the wind. We had wind speeds of 27 knots, gusting sometimes to 31 knots. When we were on open water I was able to be at the helm, under constant instruction from Rob. Our highest speed was 8.8 knots and it was absolutely thrilling. Despite being my first time on a yacht and with high winds, I had such confidence in Rob that I didn’t feel worried at any time. We had an excellent lunch and there were plenty of wine, beer, water and soft drinks available. Many thanks to Rob for a fabulous experience. How long before I can do it all again?

Our day was tailored to our request for a sail, lunch and another sail. We sailed along the beautiful Algarve coastline around Lagos. Using his detailed local knowledge of the area we anchored in a quiet bay close to Burgau for lunch. Captain Rob's knowledge of the weather was spot on too, as we spent the afternoon on a glorious sail from Burgau to the east of the Lagos bay. This was a Birthday treat, we even had time on the helm! Captain Rob ensures you feel safe and well briefed throughout the day. This full day out saling is Highly recommended if you are a novice or a real sea dog. Ocean Breeze is a delight to sail on.
