The historical castle city of Lagos in the Algarve of Portugal is a popular destination well known for its stunning rock formations, exceptional beaches, and caves. And what better way to experience all that the region has to offer than by joining us on a half-day charter with a flexible choice of two options?
With a departure from Lagos, you pass close along the famous Ponta de Piedade with its magnificent rock formations, secluded small beaches, coves, and caves. From there, there are two options for your journey.
The first option is to round the lighthouse and continue in a westerly direction along the Golden Coast on a continuous sail. You can take in the stunning vista and after some time we make a turn, eventually returning to our Lagos base. This option is perfect for those who want to see the impressive scenery and enjoy an uninterrupted sail.
The second option is to take an easterly route and make a short sail across the Bay of Lagos to the natural reserve of the Alvor Estuary. In Alvor, we drop anchor with the mountain of Monchique as a magnificent backdrop. This is the perfect location for a leisurely swim, enjoying a laid-back Tapas with a cold drink and using the onboard stand-up paddleboards.
Whichever option is chosen, a Tapas platter is provided to complete your voyage with us and white wine, beer, and soft drinks are freely available onboard. The platter is the perfect way to compliment your half-day charter and savour the flavours of Portugal.
Half-day charters run from 09.30 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 17.30. Mornings tend to be lesser winds with the afternoon bringing in the more exciting blows. Whatever your preference morning or afternoon, you are guaranteed to have an enduring experience.
A Quadrant Algarve half-day charter gives a relaxed and leisurely taste for those looking to take in the stunning scenery of the region. With the two options to choose from and a Tapas platter to complete the voyage, a memorable time on the water to savour and share.
